About

We used a porotherm in the interior for the first time. This is a painstaking work on the correct layout of porotherm, since it is not a finishing material. And we succeeded as this natural material added its unique geometry. Since the height of the interior is about 5 meters, it made it possible to put trees between the tables, which added coziness and zoned the seats. The central part is lined with a mosaic carpet with an interpretation of pigs. All furniture is individually made. The entire decor: barrels, tubs, jugs, mirrors are restored authentic elements of Ukrainian culture. Behind the wooden racks are windows that have been boarded up. Natural light penetrates through them, which adds an interesting light effect in the illumination of the jugs. A painting of a stylized element of Tripoli culture is painted on the perimeter of the restaurant. The large bar counter is lined with gabion cells, the shelves are decorated with authentic jugs and decorated with imitation of ribs. There is also a fragment of a bar table with a stylized trough. Table tops are thin and made from fragments of boards. There is also an area with large wicker lamps, which create an interesting play of light and shadow on the wall.

There are also different zones with different seats, which makes it possible to choose the optimal place for both single person and large companies. On the ceiling are false wooden beams and seaming with a board. We decorated it with greenery and decorative lighting (street garlands), which added coziness.

Location

The restaurant is located on the third floor of the “Shuvar” shopping center in the city of Lviv.

We always look for and reveal the potential of the room, since there is sufficient height and access to an open terrace that is higher than the floor mark, this allowed us to make a podium, which is a functional and aesthetic solution for this space.

Design

The total area of the restaurant is 529.4 m², of which 426.8 m² is allocated to the bar hall. The number of seats is 177. There is also a terrace with an area of 37.4 m² and the number of seats is 34.

Most of the elements are individually made.

Easter Egg

The Rib’s House restaurant focuses more on meat dishes, and also has a pig’s face in the logo emblem. The image of a pig can be traced throughout the restaurant: in the drawing at the entrance to the restaurant and in the main sculptures, in figures of drawers, shelves and walls, in mosaics, in different paintings. There is also Ukrainian cuisine in the variety of dishes. And in the decor there are authentic elements of Ukrainian traditional products. There is also a decorative element of Tripoli culture in the painting.
